So, since moomi is here with me, I shall teach everybody how to make dango-s the easy way! First, buy the ingredients (*of course*). Go grab a pan and paper! Location I suggest you get the ingredients : Supermarket and/or Daiso I saw moomi taking the plastic bags from Daiso and Giant. I crawled in to see what ingredients there are! There are Glutinous Rice flour, Silken Tofu(*from Giant*), Red Bean Paste and ahyi had the soy bean powder. These are the ingredients. To make the dangos look nice nice, buy nice nice skewers. =D But I think, they also got use a little bit of cornstarch to make it more Q. Because my moomi never use measuring tools to measure the flour and tofu, I agar agar tell you how much ingredients needed. 250gm of tofu, 250gm of silken tofu and also about 2 tspn of cornstarch mix with flour. Mix them all together slowly! Don't put all the tofu and flour together at first. Put a bit of silken tofu and flour and knead and fold. Knead and fold and slowly add. The "dough" is done when it feels a lil dry to touch but yet is still moist. (*I told moomi this is complicating but she says adult will understand*). Then go boil a pot of water and add a little salt inside. While waiting for it to boil, roll the dough into small small balls, but my moomi got roll them and flatten them again. Later show you the photo I sneakily took. Then when the water start producing this "poop poop poop" sound and start to bubble, throw them in! Don't scoop them up even if they float, it's an illusion that they are ready! Wait a little more. like 3 minutes more and scoop them out onto a bowl of ice water so they won't stick. Then use skewer and stick 3 of the babies. Then you can put the topping of your choice! Moomi and ah yee prepared red brean paste (S$2 from Daiso) and the soy bean powder (S$2 from Daiso). But the soy bean powder, remember to add sugar if not young children don't like. My moomi is health freak, don't want add white sugar! I eat until I want to vomit. And and and, grandmama got Gula Melaka from Malacca. Can add also! Very nice to eat. After that, bring them to steam for like 3 minutes then will be QQ, soft soft! But don't eat and laugh at the same time, will choke one. Very easy to make. Even my ah yi can make means everyone can make. She make alot of noise while making because her dough weird weird, wet wet one. Keep snatching flour from my moomi. Don't like. Go try go try. =D - Monkey
